Which channels does Grounly support?

The web widget on your own site, and Telegram. Both run the same retrieval and the same grounding rules; a conversation from either shows up in the same place.

How do I connect a Telegram bot?

Create a bot with Telegram's @BotFather and paste its token into Grounly. The webhook is registered for you, and the bot's name is shown back so you can confirm you connected the one you meant.

Everything the web channel does works there: grounded answers with sources, thumbs up and down, contact capture — Telegram can share a phone number natively — and live takeover, where a colleague replies from Conversations and the message arrives in Telegram.

What can the Telegram bot not do?

• It works in private chat only, not in groups.
• It sends and receives text only.

Does Telegram use a separate quota?

No. Telegram messages count against the same monthly allowance as the website widget — see plans and limits.

What happens when I disconnect it?

The webhook is revoked and the token deleted. Conversation history stays, because it is yours.
